When it comes to bullshiat, big-time, major league bullshiat, you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims, religion. No contest. No contest. Religion. Religion easily has the greatest bullshiat story ever told. Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there’s an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever ’til the end of time!

But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He’s all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can’t handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bullshiat story. Holy shiat!

But I want you to know something, this is sincere, I want you to know, when it comes to believing in God, I really tried. I really, really tried. I tried to believe that there is a God, who created each of us in His own image and likeness, loves us very much, and keeps a close eye on things. I really tried to believe that, but I gotta tell you, the longer you live, the more you look around, the more you realize, something is farked up.

Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed. Results like these do not belong on the résumé of a Supreme Being. This is the kind of shiat you’d expect from an office temp with a bad attitude. And just between you and me, in any decently-run universe, this guy would’ve been out on his all-powerful ass a long time ago.

Age of Conan

So far so good. It definitely has a lot more going for it than say… world of warcraft. I just hit level 34 last night as a guardian. I have yet to have the opportunity to engage in pvp combat but I really like the combo system in pve encounters. The game still has a lot of minor bugs but seeing patches every three days or so leaves me with high hopes for the future. The overall user community is very much reminesiant of early mmo games in that not everyone is a fucking idiot, which is great!

I think  back to why I player wow for so long and maybe it has to do with the fact that I started playing the game three or four months after release. Every other mmo I enjoyed I have started from release and I think the bugs that plague these games at the start may have made me lose interest quickly.

I still get the itch to play eq2 every now and again. I wish my local friends would be willing to give t a try.

God didn’t say take knowledge and run with it. Au contraire, God said take knowledge and be damned and exiled. He didn’t want feisty wannabes. He wanted obedient cattle. Eve chose well.

So I started cutting back on my food intake. From damn near  four thousand calories a day to twelve hundred. Rachel finding this link for me has put in to perspective: http://www.hpathy.com/healthtools/calories-need.asp

So far I have lost a little over ten pounds injust under a week, Kind of scary actually.

Oh I started playing world of warcraft again. I wish I had the time to play EQ2.

My latest addiction…  http://ceti.astroempires.com/home.aspx

A real-time Space Strategy Game.

The best part is it only takes a few minutes a day and since it is web/browser

based I can play from work without too much concern.
